Cartier abre as inscrições para o Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards 2019

A joalheria Cartier possui um prêmio de empreendedorismo para mulheres chamado Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards, nele várias brasileiras já se inscreveram e até já ganharam.
 
Neste ano a brasileira Paula Gomez, foi a vencedora da América Latina com um dispositivo criado por ela e sua mãe que prevê crises epiléticas e alerta pacientes e responsáveis com até 25 minutos de antecedência.
 
Também tivemos neste ano, a vitoriense Neide Sellin, criadora do robô Lisa, que foi uma das finalistas da América Latina do prêmio CWIA

Cartier reaffirms its commitment to women entrepreneurs from around the world. Paris, June 11th, 2018 – Since 2006, Cartier, in partnership with INSEAD Business School and McKinsey & Company, has supported women entrepreneurs leading for-profit businesses that are financially sustainable and impact-driven. The international competition is dedicated to female entrepreneurs who are making concrete contributions to finding effective and affordable solutions for future generations, as well as to encourage more women to achieve their full potential. Launched over ten years ago, the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards seeks to encourage and support women entrepreneurship and thus highlight women’s contribution to the global economy. The call for applications for the 2019 edition of the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards will start on June 11, 2018 at 2:00 PM (CEST) and close on August 31, 2018 at 2:00 PM (CEST). The programme is expanding to a 7th region In order to further increase the programme’s impact, the competition is expanding into a seventh region. From now on, Asia-Pacific will be divided into two separate regional entities: Far East Asia and Southeast Asia. Therefore, 21 finalists representing 7 regions (Latin America, North America, Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa, Middle East & North Africa, Far East Asia, Southeast Asia) will be announced in February 2019. The announcement will also share the name of the city where the Cartier Awards week & ceremony will be hosted in Spring 2019 The 7 laureates will be awarded US$ 100,000 in prize money. The remaining 14 finalists will be awarded US$ 30,000 in prize money. Finally, the 7 laureates and 14 finalists will all be receiving personalized business coaching, media visibility, networking opportunities as well as the option to attend an INSEAD Executive Program (ISEP). Long-term involvement and achievements at the international level With the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards, Cartier aims to contribute to women’s empowerment efforts worldwide, and thus mirror Cartier’s founding values of curiosity, audacity and openness to the world. By sharing their reality and their world view, these candidates are a terrific inspiration for the Maison. Founded in 2006, the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards are open to women-run, for-profit businesses in any country and sector working to create strong social impact. Since their creation, over 16,000 women from around the world have applied, 198 businesses creating over 6000 jobs, from 49 countries have been supported by nearly 400 jury members and coaches.
