
Ontem á noite a Ralph Lauren apresentou em sua loja na Madison Avenue em Nova York a sua coleção February Collection, a segunda nos moldes do see-now-by-now da marca.
A loja foi toda decorada com orquídeas brancas, do segundo ao primeiro andar, transformando o local num oásis botânico.

Ralph Lauren presents the February 2017 Collection in his completely transformed 888 Madison Avenue, women’s flagship store in an immersive floral installation which juxtaposes the urban landscape of New York City. “My February 2017 Collection was inspired by a nomadic spirit, an exotic sophistication contrasting pure shapes with rustic textures, shades of the desert and burnished gold, and artful, one-of-a-kind jewelry. It embodies the spirit of the woman I design for, always seeking a style that is bold and personal,” Ralph Lauren said. In the spirit of modern sensuality, easy fluid layers are mixed with textures and patterns. The soft tailoring of deserty linens are contrasted with leathers and canvases distressed by the elements.
The collection tells the ongoing story of Ralph Lauren’s love of contradiction and personal style expressed by a woman with a keen eye and eclectic taste who travels the globe collecting remarkable finds. The February Collection expresses an adventurous artistry and craftsmanship defining the personal luxury of today.
Shimmering translucent layers of couture silk viscose create opulent, elegant eveningwear and one of a kind burnished and sculpted jewelry accentuates. Lamé gowns that shimmer with metallic prints recalling exotic tapestries and accessories take form in classic shapes with pairings of python and leopard printed hair calf.
Tones of honey, light sand, vintage cream and dune make up the palette, and modern silhouettes are effortlessly reimagined and updated in washed python, fluid mesh and linen silk shantung. For Release Feb. 15, New York, NY – Ralph Lauren Corporation transformed its iconic Madison Avenue Women’s Flagship store to present the February 2017 Collection on Wednesday, February 15, during New York Fashion Week.
The Madison Avenue store was completely transformed into an oasis with an immersive botanical installation covering every wall of the store’s first and second floors.
“My February 2017 Collection was inspired by a nomadic spirit, an exotic sophistication contrasting pure shapes with rustic textures, shades of the desert and burnished gold, and artful, one-of-a-kind jewelry. Guests were transported from New York City’s urban landscape into a world inspired by the essence of the collection. Orchids, air plants, and desert agave intertwined with rich moss and vines that formed a tactile ‘living wall’ landscape, creating an intimate and personal runway experience.
Following the show, the doors of 888 Madison Avenue will open to the public from Thursday, February 16 – Monday, February 20, inviting consumers to shop the Collection amongst the ‘living walls’ in a truly unique shopping experience.
